SYSTEMS APPROACHES: INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN MODELS 

AECT, its mean Association for Educational Communications and Technology, is an academic and professional association that promotes educational uses of technology. This association promotes scholarship and best practices provided by members leadership in field instructional technology and educational technology. 




When we define content, methods and timeline for the learning program (it can be traditional face-to-face or elearning), this process is called  Instructional Design. 

Some benefits of a good instructional design are: 

  • Assists instructional designers in providing a strong structure course.

  • Enables ID to visualize the learning needs and easily break down into steps the learning process designed.

  • Provides set guidelines to make sure the course addresses the set learning objectives while meeting expectations.
